Xi'an (Chinese: 西安), is the capital of the Shanxi province in the People's Republic of China . As one of the oldest cities in Chinese history, Xi'an is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China because it has been the capital of 13 dynasties ,including the Zhou, Qin, Han, the Sui, and Tang dynasties. Xi'an is the eastern end of the Silk Road .

　　1、田姓出自妫姓，为妫满之后。据《史记?田完世家》及《新唐书?宰相世系表》、《古今姓氏书辨证》等资料所载，齐桓公封妫完于田地，其后子孙以地为氏，称田姓。

　　2、出自黄姓所改。据《明史》所载，明初有辅佐惠帝之黄子澄，因上削藩之策而激怒诸侯，被杀。其子黄子经为避祸改为田终，迁居今湖北咸宁一带，后世子孙也以田为姓。

　　3、出自其他少数民族。如并州田姓源出匈奴，金时女真人阿不哈氏，汉姓为田，清时贵州思南府土司姓田，为白族，西夏人有姓田者，如今苗、瑶、彝、土家、回、蒙、藏、满、朝鲜族等有此姓
